Call for Papers
The conference call for papers has now ended, but the confernece publication call for papers just started. We invite all participants and registered attendees to submit abstracts of about half a page in length to us at sssi@uni-kassel.de until October 1, 2011. Full papers are requested until january 2, 2012. The submissions will be peer-reviewed and may be handed in in German or English. We reserve the right to translate the text from one language into the other, as we have both English- and German-printing outlets.
In connection with the conference, we will launch a new German-language journal for interaction studies and ethnography. The journal, named "Soziale Interaktion," will be peer-reviewed and appear bi-annually. The first edition is scheduled to publish extraordinary material that was presented at the conference. After that, it will consist of papers received and reviewed through a submission process.
